Avery Wheless is a film director, painter and writer currently living in Los Angeles. First known for her work as a painter, Wheless has expanded into directing films, music videos and fashion editorials as well as writing for publications such as Artillery Magazine. Her work has been featured in Creators-Vice, Rolling Stone, Nylon Spain, Paper, Artillery Magazine, Vents Magazine, Destroy//Exist and Flaunt Magazine as well as many other publications. She maintains her fine arts studio and writing practices while expanding into the realm of film, each informing the other.
